• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

610 Support?

Is there any chance that you'll make some of your products for the 610?

The lack of support is killing me......... right now I've been pounding the 610 over stuff like pearl pass and canyon creek trail with no sharkfin, case saver, and put a couple of good dings in the oil filter cover and side cases................

Help?

Or is the 610 market so small it's not worth the time to design and fab things up?

I'd love to expand our product line to include the 610. The biggest problem is finding the time to develop new products. The second problem is I don't have a 610 to work with. Maybe if you lend me yours for a couple months we'll come up with some products for it. :D

How long would it take to get down to your place from denver?
How long would you need with the bike?

I'll be out of town for a few weeks soon but am likely too jammed up to get down there. I would consider doing something this winter if you want...........

Sorry guys, been way too busy here to even think about 610 products. I'll get to it as soon as possible, but with only 1 pair of hands things move a little slowly.

Double sigh….:(

Maybe now, since the new 630 is basically identical to the 610 in so many ways we have a better chance ? :excuseme:

Food for thought
