• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

$4k fine

MA800 should really stick to MX outdoor racing his "indoor" timing and control......is rather different compared to the other top tier guys. The guy gets great starts and goes backward in SX.

Ferry and Denny Stephenson had another take on it, Ferry has him knocking his right foot off the peg from the tuff block having no rear brake to reach then screwing up with front and clutch (somewhat unintentional crash in tickle). Both also mentioned 99.9% of commenters have never been there at that level, speed, reflex etc etc .
I dont know but seems like RC was super mad about that move (RC knows what the SX furnace is like)

BS. His angle was clearly a take out move. They should have fined him more. He pulls this crap all the time cuz he cant win straight up. He can go away now please.

I think as a team owner, I wouldn't be too happy to see one of my riders taken out like that either.

My take on it is he went in there and grabbed a handful of throttle to spin/pivot the back end around but it hooked up and shot him into Tickle. He is still a douche though lol.

To me it looked like Alessi panicked when Tickle went flying by. He tried to cut him off in the next corner but when it was obvious he was too far behind to make any type of block pass he panicked and dumped the clutch trying to squirt in front of Tickle. Even if that was his intent and it had worked he still would have gone down. Tickle would have run straight into him as alessi was charging into the tough blocks. Either way ya, the guy just needs to go away.

Word is that his team will be contesting the canadian nationals this summer. Possible has something to do with the laser thing at Washougal last summer.

By no means am I sticking up for him, but looking at the video in slow mo, his foot was not on the rear brake after the tuff block. His right toe is pointing straight down. Still, he didn't even try to avoid the collision.

That is funny - laser and all.
I don't know how much of what happened was on purpose or by accident - problem is - either way there's no excuse for endangering someone else - you're supposed to be a pro at this level.

I had a hard time believing that he had nothing to do with the laser incident at the time and now I don't believe it at all.
I will really be surprised if his sponsors don't dry up.
Might be a good time to start packing for Haiti or where ever the hell his brother went?

It sure looked like he did it on purpose to me. He didn't even try and make a turn. What I don't understand is how Broc kept his cool and didn't return the favor after the finish of the race with either his bike or his boot up his A$$! Didn't care for his family before that and now a lot less. btw $4,000.00 isn't enough IMO.
