I just talked to Terry Fox at foxpowersports.com in New York (315-866-1200). Extremely nice and helpful person. He is putting on the 3rd annual North East Husky Gathering.
The gathering is August 21, 22, 23 which is much earlier this year to avoid the more inclement weather (remember the hurricane going up the eastern seaboard last year on it's way to the gathering?).
But that means time is very short and if people are going they need to send the information asap. Preferably before August.
Below is a partial cut / paste from an email I've received from him, hopefully it makes sense. If I've made a mistake please correct me. There is also a Word document attached.
I will be donating 4 Cafe Husky contributing memberships that can be raffled off. That is about the only thing I can think of that I can give that would be unique. I will also send some vinyl graphics/stickers to him. He can either raffle or give those out as he sees fit.
It warms my heart to know there are good people like Terry.

Of course, the big highlight of the weekend is the 2 days of riding, however ranked second is Saturday night’s time spent together as a group. This is “Bench Racing” at it’s best, with our favorite beverages included .This is the best opportunity for the riders to discuss our likes, and/or dislikes, and the various forms of ownership support. Saturday night after dinner, is also the best time to do our charity raffle.
Each year, since it’s inception, the Northeast Husky Gathering has taken all it’s proceeds from the event, and have given the entire amount to a deserving off road enthusiast, or family member, who has a financial need, due to a medical condition. Our hope is to let the recipient know that we care, by donating every little bit we can, to help them through their financial strain. This year we have 2 recipients in mind; 1 with MS, and the other, a child losing his eyesight at the young age of 6.
