  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

310R Fuel Injector

wags

Husqvarna
AA Class
Does anybody know where you can buy just the fuel injector only for a 2013 TE310R.

I pulled it apart today and found all of this junk in it and the o-ring is bad.
Any ideas were I can get just the o- ring?

I believe your bad o-ring is in the fuel rail maybe? take it apart (1 screw) and look; but the rail is plastic so be careful. I am assuming you found this stuff in the injector's pre-filter... correct?

Anyways- these orings may be the same size (your red one and the red one in the rail).

I can't say anything about the green particles; maybe the quick disconnects in your tanks have a green oring, and sometimes the tank fuel crossover has a green seal (but how that'd get in you injector is beyond me).

Is the visible red one been damaged or is it leaking fuel? if not, it's still good

soak the injector in carb cleaner.

The green junk is the fuel disconnect and orange is the o ring on the injector.
Pulled the pump out and all was clean.

Was this junk it in your injector pre-filter?

The oring in the fuel rail is orange too; the oring in your pic looks good. But actually, if you're not leaking gas (and your fuel rail looks doesn't look like it) I'd button it back up and give it a try.

I had forgotten about the green plastic guide tube in the stock fuel line quick disconnects. I don't know why these things do this (people yarding on them or connecting at an angle??) but I've seen pics of the green flakes a few times.
