• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2014 AMA Supercross Rd 2 Phoenix 450 Main

I did just notice that RV2 tripled out of the corner where he passed Js7 and JS7 doubled out :( ... This ain't Stew ... Its aged soup ...

Matt Moss 102 for the holeshot!
Actually he holeshot all his races :-)
Watch out next week!

You gotta want it to get there first ... That's about 98% of getting a holeshot.

JB51 was doing some pretty cool passes on that opening lap.

Yamaha (JGR) had something - that bike was just putting down the power and moving forward in his heat and in the main. Starts, thru the whoops, out of turns -was it rider, tires, suspension, engine?

Looked good for sure whatever it was ..

Stewart in an interview (I think it was cycle news) said he was sick and just wanted some points

I watched the race again and he followed RV2 as far forward as JB51 ... Then Stew just lost air time as so much was happening up front ... They did give one shot of JB51 chewing right up on Stew ...

The Yamaha looked like it went through the whoops smoother than anything else. Looks well sorted. Time for a top rider to be on one again.

Peick was 15th and then ....broke?, crashed?

Couldn't tell.

Is he still privateering?

Yup, back to being a Privateer. Had a ride in Australia w/Carlton Dry.

He did win his Semi in Phoenix, however.

He was looking really good at A1 too (sitting in about 8th and closing) then pulled off and finished way back.

Seems to be the pattern. Get out and hammer/challenge early then taper off at the end.

Looked pretty good there.

He may get some top 5 finishes yet. Doubt he'll podium.

I noticed at A1 he was pushing a lot harder than last year. Maybe a little more confidence After having raced down under. He's not working out of a van anymore either. He's got a hauler now. The Mrs and I went to his pit. The bike was there, all pimped out and ready to rock, but he wasn't around.

For us, we're all about the kids form the 15/215 stretch. Weisbruch, Peick, Craig, Canada and Champion. We'll always pull for those kids.
