  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc 2013 WR144 I want to install headlight and tail/brake light what do I need???

AA Class
I just brought my son a wr125/144, it did not come with the light kit. I want to install them but not really sure where to start.. was thinking about striping my wr300 down to copy the wiring harness depending on cost of OEM harness. Do I need a voltage regulator too???

I did a search here but I not sure I collected enough to feel ready to proceed..

Thanks....... Any and all help appreciated..

My 13 wr125 has a rec(not a reg as still ac I think) so that's all you should need id imagine. Spare Yellow wire under tank is power. Should be able to run em straight off that. Ducati ignition doesn't like it much. Mine is harder to start with headlight on. I am no auto leccy however:)

I have two wr's. An 09 and a 10. All the wiring should be there. My 10 has the brake light switch on the front brake. My 09 has no switch. A banjo bolt switch from tusk will do the job. There should be a regulator under the gas tank. Make sure it is connected or you will blow bulbs. Not much to do other than that unless you want fancy switches and all.

Call Hall's they set me up with my light kit for my WR250, you should have everything except the lights, you need to tap into the yellow wire from the stator but the kit tells you how to do everything.
