  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2013 txc310 flame out

bagotaco

Husqvarna
I have a txc310 with a dynatec tuner everything else is a stock. It flames out alot coming out of corners in low rpms.. im just coming off of a wr250f and could tracor up and around anything but not with this. Any suggestions?

Try removing the tuner. I've never read of anyone using a FI tuner on a 2013 250/310, so they're probably not needed.
How many hours are on the bike?

Are to sure your bike is a 2013 TXC310R (redhead) and not a 2012 TXC310 (blackhead)?
Sorry about the silly question but JD didn't release a tuner for the 2013 model. The 2012 and earlier models had Mikuni FI and the 2013 has Keihin FI so you could also have a mismatched tuner.

13' TXC310R flame out!

Put alot of hard miles on it yesterday at Hollister. From mid day on it was flaming out. It got worse as the day progressed. Hellllllppp!

How many hours are on the clock? Mine got considerably better after 10 hours. Night and day better.

Bought the bike used from Dan@ MotoXotica, it came straight from the Husky factory never been registered. Looked nearly off the showroom floor with some very light scratches on the plastics. They (Husky) said approx. 20 hours, however, Dan and I thought significantly less, MAYBE 5 hours if that.

My first ride was mild on it, some hill climbs and the rest was riding trails with the family. No flame out.

Yesterday, out with the guys. Rode hard and alot! Every type of condition except for wet or muddy terrain. Tight and technical, flow, rocky, rutty, ect.

I have probably put 5 hours ride time on it.

Seems odd indeed. The TXC platform has the good EFI system and fuel mapping. Have you had the TPS reset? Almost sounds like a TPS or possibly a temperature sensor malfunction. I hope you get it sorted soon.
