    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

2013 Te310r No Power To Electronics But Starter Swings

If i press the start button the engine turns but does not start and the cluster does not come on.
What ive found is that the starter solenoid works and provides power to the bike.
Everything that should get direct power does(cluster included) . Ive tested every fuse and relay all are good. However the coil and feul pump does nt get power even when i press the start button.
Ive traced power to the power relay. However the power relay does not click when i press start. According to the diagram the power relay provides power to the coil and feul pump.
With the cluster not turning on i dont know... Ill try anything jst dont have the funds at the funds to send it to the a dealer

Battery is a couple of months old... Hold charge perfectly, it turns the motor over.
If i kick it same story everything stays dead.
Usually if i touch the start button or kick it the cluster comes on for 5seconds then switches off... Now it jst stays dead
 
Have you checked the wiring harness. Have had problems with that at two different occasions. Different problems both times. Not your though. First time the charging ended on my 2011 and second time several faults on my 2014 after 180h.

Ill do that now... Ill let u know in a few hours
 
Just to add another possibile failure my 310, before rebuild, had two ECU failed causing the bike not starting. The symptoms were in the first case fuel pump priming, injector not spraying and there was spark while in the second case I had fuel pump priming, injector spraying and no spark. I Hope your CDI is ok, first try to check the wiring harness as others suggested
 
So ive checked every plug on the harness and everything is 100%. When i kick it it generates power... The regulator of is getting power... It seems like everything is pointing to the ECU. I guess ill have it tested next
