• Hi everyone,

    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

RWent to Corona Sunday show / Tuesday was ride day.They had about 10 Terra. 650s to go out in group rides about 30 miles or so everyone loved them.Meanwhile everyone rode txc tc te cr we bikes on the Lake Elsinore track.The new txc te 310s are awesome.Later on your truly bill himself ate it big time on Cr125. Made the jump but slid. Out and tucked the front end.billf couldn't breath well so I hung out /too bad ZMARTY TRIPES. Wasnatbaqueing ribs for everyone.To make a long story short I flee back to Portland Tuesday drove breathlessly to the shop in Salem and based the guys and went home. The next day Mrs Bill insisted I do the doctor visit Wich then put Nemvin Silverton hospital bring I had five broken ribs a punctured and deflated lung Wichita means had to go out and have a drain tube stuck.Now after two days of morphine and perverted cocktails I can just about breath and type.I may get out tommorrow and maybe able to talk more. About the meeting We BILLS MC PLUS ARE 2012 TOP SELLING DEALER IN USA. Talk later when straight bill.f. SORRY FOR SPELLING DO NOT TAKE DRUGS SND KINDLE! !!
 
Get well soon, those chest tubes and boxes that they hook up are a pain in the %$ I had one stuck in me for 32 days with no Morphine.

Damn Bill, take care of yourself and get well. Make sure you still ventilate no matter the pain, pneumonia is really tough to deal with in these kinds of cases/mind the docs.
 
Sounds good except for the crashing ... Just kick back and rest and ride the fix-up-the-body time as easy as possible ...

Holy cow Bill. Glad to hear you are recovering, but those are some nasty injuries. I guess next year you need to let me go and do the riding for you :thumbsup:

Thanks guys; just made it home!! Lung is working and sealing nicely Never take breathing for granted again.They drained about1/2 gallon of Redline from around my lung.So taking it easy and less drugs makes for better typlng skills for sure.Looks like ill be cooking cleaning at the Husky gathering.Also nothing like being home with your own crapper.Well thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers!!!hilltop.

Sorry about your injuries Bill. I did the 5 broken ribs and collapsed lung ride in june, no fun at all. Don't sneeze.Heal fast,rest alot . Kerry

This posts says it all why you're the top dealer "bikes were awesome everyone was riding, cool this cool that... oh yeah I messed myself up and am in the hospital" Bikes first!!! :D
 
Bill, you are truly an iron man! After my son and I left your shop this morning he went on and on about how impressed he was that you were back in the shop today.
 
Its just faster revs quicker cleaner,suspension is stiffer so all he above works well on Mx track,cant tell how it works in the woods until I do oit there.
