  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc 2013 Husky 2 stroke news

already a few threads on this and I believe those are phtotchops not coming next year but hope i am wrong.

Lol. The WR250 Pic is a fake, isn't it? The fork is the old Marzzo. The Frameguard looks like WR 125.

Edit: conc. Injection: The direct Injection will not be used even it was developed and runs great, but it is to expensive. They will use an injection in the transfer-ports (correct english?), which is cheaper.

It's all fake, look at the bad quality, it just doesn't match up.
I'm Dutch and the story looks to be made up, it's just to sketchy.
It also says the BMW/Kymco gets dropped for the 449 and is replaced by a hybrid of the 450 and X-Light engine, yeah right I think the writer was dreaming and this is his wish list.

This what the 2013 WR250 will look like, but with BNG.

yeah, what ^ madfish said... what setup do you have on there for fender and number plate, MOTORHEAD? looks great!

Yes, we have a winner!
it looks pretty good

i don't really understand husky's front fender
the whole bike is sharp and pointy while the front fender is still rounded, the front # plate however is fine, just the front fender, i really like it when guys swap the 449 front fender on the smokers, really makes it look good

so does anybody have any info other than the supposed efi 250/300 smokers for 13-14?
i cant see husky making to many changes to the 125/144 seeing as how they basically had an all new one for 12

it would be cool of them to bring back the cr, that is on par with ktm and yamaha 250's, hopefully its better than the yamaha bc the yz only has 46 hp, where the 10' wr300 that mxa did had stock hp of 43, i was a bit disappointed by those numbers

i REALLY enjoyed the 125 shootout that dirtrider did, and i'm looking forward to getting a new 12' 125/144 later this year, no yz or ktm for me, and the tm is more $ than i'd like to spend

Yeah, the WR 300 doesn't pump out as many ponies as you may think, but it is an old school torquey motor. (I would love to know that actual number of ft/lbs) That is what I love about it. With a couple of tweaks, I have mine running just the way I like it.
