  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

OK folks. It's likely been discussed here in the Cafe, but I haven't found it. Looking for a supplier of white upper rad shrouds (and maybe lowers) along with white lower fork guards for the TXC. It's time to freshen her make up a little bit. Are these critters even in existance? If they are, they're illusive little creatures. What say you?

Arent there white panels available for x-lites thru the Husky catalogue?
I know Polisport makes white ones for the WRs. Maybe wheelings cycle in West Virginia?

I picked up the white plastic kit from Husky, should be still available. Waiting to put my new "B" graphics on. The Beta fork guards may work, I'm thinking RED though....

I just picked up a 09 WR144 with what I think are GG fork protectors so those will work too.

if they have a couple clips in the back to remove them without removing the wheel...they are GG,otherwise they are probably ktm..im pretty sure I put Honda fork guards on mine before, just need a different clamp for the brake line...

wow Kelly that tank is puny...is that the stock WR tank? or an MX tank?

Well, I suppose there's an answer in all of this somewhere. All I'm looking for are the shrouds and forkadokies. But especially the shrouds. Believe I'll give MotoXotica a jingle and administer the quiz. Thanks for the input. Anybody else want to chime in?

KTM forkadokies work, too. Lots of colors available. I snagged some white no-names from eBay for $15 or something.

Thanks df. Checked with MotoXotica............they're out and so is Husky Parts. Well Farkennugin. The search shall resume. Got to have some to put these new DecalMX graphics on. And red ain't it.....................Me thinks the cart got before the horse!
