As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.
Thanks for your patience and support!
How much of a difference does the system make? Did you have to alter fuel mapping? Any other engine mods? You can use the stock heat shield with this system...View attachment 14348

Take a look at the Akrapovic. I rode several 310's at the NW gathering and the 12 bike with the Akra had better power than all the pre 13's and as good of power as the 2013 Red Head but much quieter. I liked it a lot better than the PC system that was on the 2012 TXCthanks for the heads up guys. So here are my options for exhaust that im considering. What do you think?
FMF (power core 4 hex w/ power bomb) - $500
Rocket Exhaust (black anodized w/carbon end cap) - $550
Pro Circuit T5- over $700

Hi DaveI like the Akrapovic on my '12 TE310, better low end and torque boost. However, MXA mag March 2013 issue just came out with a performance upgrade guide on the 2013 TC250 with a mention of the 310. They used a Pro Circuit stainless steel T-5. Worth checking out too.
Hey, Russ. How you doing? You doing any more riding this winter? Or waiting for warm weather?
Dave

Hi Dave
Been trying to get out at lease once a week. If your available you should come up and ride Tahuya with us. The conditions have been great and this Saturday they should be excellent.
When I rode your bike. You had 13 x 47 gearing ? I was so impressed with the Akra that I would recommend that he wait for the Akra
I don't get lost on the home court ! How did you snag the Akra for only $620 ? Best I can find is $900 +Sorry, didn't catch the gearing question... yes, 47 tooth on rear. front is 13 tooth...
I have a new Michelin S12 front tire now. Ready to follow you around. If I come up, are we going to get lost again? Ha!

With the 47 on the rear your bike was impressive. The others had the 50 . A 50 on yours would really yank !Mine is the stainless steel version. The full titanium racing version is spendy $$$.
I found mine from an eBay seller.
There's two different part #'s, one for the full Ti version and one for the SS model. The SS is cheaper.
