• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2012 Husky Contingency Program up and running...

NMA series is on there. Rounds 2 and 3 in washington at the end of march. Pacwest is the only motocross payout series in the northwest, wish more NW mx folks would get on that list. Does it cost the promoters to add their series? You would think every promoter out there would want to be on all the contingency lists to draw more racers??

There is an email link in that announcement for Jenna Parker.... Promoter could contact her and ask.

I know as an OMRA rep it didn't cost us anything to get on the list, we just talked to the Northwest Husqvarna rep and BMP in Salem and they helped get our events listed.

They add A.M.A. district 6 flattrack on Our demand for 2012,thanks Husky!
now I also noted that XTRM took suscription out of My bank account last week ????

If anyone submitted thru XTRM last year you most likely signed up for an automatic renewal, maybe unaware of it.
Go to their site sign in, top right is an 'account' type of link. The get contingency last year you had to sign up for a 'plus' account,
change the account to 'standard' it's the free version.

dirttracker, give 'em a call and have them take it off your card.

Let us know how you make out...

I never had to supply a title to get contingency before... Guess its because my buddy is not the original owner

You can't change the acct. to "Standard". You can only upgrade. I am trying to delete my acct or change to free standard but can't figure out how to.

XTRM is BS ! They have it fixed so they will automatically renew your acct whether you approve or not. I can find no way to delete acct. I can find no way to downgrade acct to Standard. What a rip off. They should be reported to the authorities for fraudulant and deceptive practices.

Sorry about the BS you're going thru...I didn't remember signing up for an auto-renewal thing either. I think they sent an email notifing about the expiration date and I inquired. If I had not I'd be right with you.

Top right corner, under the 'Settings' tab is a 'Billings' tab...I can't see what would be there if I had your account, I'm only seeing 'Standard' not the 'Plus' info...But it makes sense it's not easy to do, why would they want to do that!

Bag the on-line stuff...XTRM phone number, west coast time - 1-866-367-9289, customer service.

I sent a Email and placed a phone call this afternoon. They say they have removed the automated renewal from my acct. You call their phone number and you get a recording that their agents are busy or you have called outside normal business hours. No where can I find or do they say what normal business hours are.

Sounds like we have all the more reason to thank Husqvarna NA for dropping XTRM... no fees this year and no being 'trapped'

AND after you sign up and post a result for contingency...You get a free T-shirt in the mail...
Life is good...
