• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

You know that this is just not right! Thanks to our "I GOTTA PROTECT YOU FROM YOURSELF " government in the U.S.,we won't ever see the 65(or the 50 for that matter)! At least the sweet looking 125 will be available :)

If they import the 65 to the USA I promise not to let the kids chew on the frame********************************************************************************!!!

no doubt! if im payin for it im goin to be the one chewin on the frame!! ok ok i might save a lil for the kids....

dislike the black frame and silver wheels, 12 125 looks boring and plain

When I first saw the pictures to be honest I had the same impression. However, wait until you see them until you make your final judgement!
I've now seen some of the bikes in the flesh and the new design works really well. 2D photos don't do them justice IMHO.

Look like KYB 48's up front. Will WR get them too? am asking as it was rumored earlier that the only bigger bike to keep the 50 mm zokes was the 125.

We had 48mm Kayabas on the WR125 here this year... were US bikes still running 50mm Marzocchis then? All the info I have says all 2012 MX/Enduro are on the Kayabas.

I briefly saw the 65 and thought it was the 125 and thought great ! a new design at last - but then realised it was a mini bike..
The 65 may be a hint of what the future bigger 2t may look like . I dont mind the silver wheels. Less scratching at least.

are theese things called minibikes now?? ive heard the term a few times and none of the "minibikes" nowdays look close to those garage labbed frankensteined things of my childhood...fat tires and a briggs motor....

IMO the little 65 looks newer/better than the 125. So our goverment still won't let our kids and grandkids eat their dirt bikes; I thought the ban was lifted on them??

its what they have to pay or have insurance for per bike thats holding them back...frickin red tape

The 65 looks like a real full sized bike. makes me want to get rid of the Husky Boy 50. The 125 looks like a minibike. Must be the tiny muffler and the huge gap under the tank!

They may be referring to some laws written a few yrs back that were designed to keep certain materials away from youngsters ... bikes got caught up in it somehow and no one has fixed the issue yet with removing bikes from the 'bad' list ...

Just life today in a 1st world country going overboard on an issue and then not following up on the issues\side effects they created ...

Apparently, I like boring, Husqvarna bikes ;)
