  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2012 cr125 rear wheel on 2013 txc250r

Does anyone know if this will fit or what needs to be done to make it fit correctly?

I have a 2013 txc250r and have a 1.85x19 rear rim.

I want to swap it to a 2.15x19 and am having a ton of trouble finding a rim to lace up.

I found a couple 2 stroke wheel sets but need to make sure they will fit before I buy it.

Something to look into is the machined hub wheels after 2010 should use regular jap pattern hoops. I replaced a rear hoop on my old '11 txc 250 with one listed as fitting a pile of yamahas from 2000+

This isn't true for all huskys, but some 2011 and newer do use japanese indexing.

How would I know if it will fit a Yamaha or other rim?

My bike is a 2013 TXC 250 R.

I have a spare hub I planned to make a flat track wheel set out of but went a different route, so I have a brand new hub to lace up. I just can't seem to get a suitable 2.15 X 19 rim and spokes for it for a reasonable price or know it will actually fit for that matter. My new hub is pictured below and is part number 8000 H1368 . It looks cast and machined after. So I don't know if this is that same as you are talking about.

I tried to buy a cheap warp 9 rim, but they told me it wouldnt fit....

That is the same hub my '11 had. I just reused the spokes when I replaced the old hoop (cracked) so I can't help you there. The hoop I used was an Excel for a yami.

My spokes are fine so i will try to see if i can get a yamaha hoop and lace it in.

My issue is its a 1.85 x 19 and it isnt good for the type of riding I do. I need a 2.15 x 19.

It has been terrible for ice racing just too narrow.
