  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc 2012 cr 125 fuel tank?

Does anyone know if the ims 2.9 gallon tank for '09-'10 cr125 will fit the '12 cr125? I can't find any after-market tanks for this bike and ims does not list any applications for the 2012 model. I may just get the 2012 wr125 factory 2.5 gallon tank if nothing else is available, at least it will fit properly! Thanks in advance every-body

Funny, i tried to put an 09 ims tank on my 11' this weekend right before a race because the suspension on my 09 sucks so bad. It does not fit, but i think i can make it work with a heat gun. There is a small gusset at the end of the back bone on the 11 and newer frames that hits. I think if i heat up the IMS and beat it down it might fit. If you dont have a tank already i would go for the stock WR but i have two of the ims tanks so i might as well give it a shot.

Thanks for the info, I heard that the tc250 tank might fit from ims and I will compare the price of a factory wr tank with the ims tank and decide what to get.
