Hey,
I was out riding in extremely wet high altitude last ride and the bike was running superbly as usual for a 600hr stock bottom end WR300...as expected.
Then we turned up a steep single and carried on for a bit then the bike just died.
It started straight up but died again quickly then died again. It continued with this behaviour and would run a bit but only at high RPM.
I thought it must be a blocked pilot. Spun the carb around and ripped the bottom off to find a pristine bowl and clean jets. Hmmmm
After reassembly it continued with this unruly behavior.
I unplugged the heavily damaged light switch cluster and it rode perfectly from then on in.
Now I have it home, I have removed and blanked off the light cluster and fitted a new generic kill switch.
In my investigations I found this thing I had unplugged many moons ago and blanked off.
What is it?
