• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2011, wow...

Great job Scot and crew.:thumbsup::thumbsup: These new release are perfect!!! lighter weight, better EFI, a host of power upgrades and features. Wow, just freaking WOW. Maybe this will get people off the "we hate BWM" bandwagon and back on the husky march. Some great improvements. Husky will have another banner year. This is just awesome.

Ditto. Now... I need to find a second job to pay for all the Huskys I need...errrrr want.

I am just going to start selling stuff I don't use and get one of each. 2011 CR150, 2011 TC 250, 2009 WR250, and ......... Thanks Husky!

You're going to think I'm making this up... but I've been looking at the gun safe plotting which guns to sell. And...<gasp>... YES, I've been on Ebay seeing how much my beloved Hodaka might bring!!! Hopefully, I'll wake up tomorrow with more sense.

No I don't think you are making it up I have a huge gun collection myself and LOL I've been doing the same thing today. Since I am busted up I have more time now to plot my next moves. Keep Cody away from the computer.

Funny how we find out what's important to us. I had to sell a vintage Moto Guzzi and a Bultaco in order to get a bike I once "needed." That bike is long gone now, and I wish I had my Bultaco back.....

Don't own a Husky yet but could see selling the Berg for a TE310 and maybe a CR150 or WR125 or even 10 TXC250 for MX and a back up hare scramble race bike :D

I once thought of selling a few shotguns to buy a bike... luckily the feeling passed and I just saved up for it. :busted:

Most were afraid bmw would crush the previous company ... At least this year, Husqvarna was allowed to proceed in the same direction they have been heading .... These look like very cool bikes with some nice upgrades!

These bikes, have been and even more so, are very competitive today ...That 310 should make a mark I think on many :) ... I try to pimp it any time the 350 bike is brought up as a better approach to something between the 250 & 450 .... and now the weight is down on it, it makes it easier to pimp out :)

Husky just needs riders and some advertising ...

I think it's a mixed bag - the super stroker 310 and wr150 evolutionary moves are sheer genius.

...and the bmw g450x reincarnate husky 450 is hard for me to swallow....

...and I wonder "what's next?"...

YES they do.:applause: I hope the follow year they'll address the handle bar mounts. Never really had a problem with them, I just don't like 'em. :excuseme:

I just heard from a guy who knows a guy who knows 3 guys at Husky and 2 guys at BMW. He said my 2010 Husky TXC 250 was the best looking bike in the history of mankind. God called me to confirm this as the truth. :D
