• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Once you are signed up with them, Do you have to register for the event with XTRM before the event? Or do you just post it if you place after the race is over.
post after you place....they validate it (look up results from AMA, local club, whatever it is)....then post your husky buck electronically. You print up and send to your dealer (or just give him the code on the buck/voucher....all done EZ PZ

in 09 it did not matter when you filed as long as the series race final/official report was out on the street so your place claim could be reviewed.
I backdated at least one race with no issue, woo hoo I collected a total of 75 husky bucks a 50 and a 25 for 2 different events. The XTRM thing works well and is a simple process. Joe you beat me to it.

Does XTRM keep up with your wins or do you have to report them ? So far I have a class win and a 3rd and a 4th for this season. Shooting for the class win this weekend at the Nat'l Enduro.

As far as I know you can claim your results anytime after the race. Not sure if there is a deadline, but I doubt it. Once you input your results it will stay in the system, listed under "results." It takes about a week to get ratified, but also remember that you must be a "plus" or "pro" account holder to receive a payout. You can't have a basic account. Good luck!

Plus or Pro ? I paid my $20 signup fee. A bit confusing to me. How will you know if you are "RATIFIED" ?

Plus is all you need to sign up for...

Once you post a race result and check that it is for a contingency request there should be a couple of stages to wait for.

At the end of the request it will go thru these steps...along the way they will post yes...
1 Promoter Notified yes/no (xtrm contacts the race promoter to verify results)
2 Results Ratified yes/no (race promoter gets back and confirms results)
3 Sponsor Notified yes/no (xtrm notifies Husky, Who must ok the award? and xtrm post award)

After the sponsor notified step you should see an email from xtrm with the subject of 'New award Alert' or keep checking back to when xtrm posts under 'awards' your payout.

Print them out, take them to the dealer...Under awards there may only be one notification. But once you hit redeem there could be more than one certificate, you'll see under 'status' under award it says ''Available 1/1 or 3/3...meaning one of one or three of three certificates...

Andy's showed one $50 certificate but there was actually 3 on the redeem page.

For the GNCC on the 13th, I posted the results on Monday the 14th and ended up printing out the
contingency award on Saturday the 19th and spent it by noon...

My dealer says the new Husky people are on this...much quicker than last year!

The only weak link could be the race promoter getting back to xtrm...

Hope this helps...

We've been getting paid every week for a month and a half atleast and XTRM is working well. My biggest complaint is the website not remembering/saving tracks and track contact info and me having to go through the whole email and contact number backgrounds for everywhere we race every time i post results.
Husky even added some classes for D17 a few weeks ago so they are involved and paying attention.

we had a problem when we added the 2nd race bike and we didnt get paid for the extra class, i called xtrm and spent about 2 minutes navigating recordings, and about 45 seconds talking to a human being and it was all fixed up. great customer service and it didnt take hours of my life on hold!
