• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

It is possible that the contingency may not be finalized.. as of less than a month ago the last new person showed up for work in Corona CA - Husqvarna NA new headquarters.

the not paying more than one class is almost a deal breaker for me, few people only race one class in motocross.....

Dalton sign up for the program,We are planning to race in D-17 few times this season but I wish it would cover Our home District 6 in Pa.
He is going to be fun to watch on that Husky!!!

Just heard 2011 contingency will be same as 2010 but include 3 year models - 2009 , 2010 , 2011 bikes. Now go race - win - get cash!

Yeah, they're all busy decorating their new offices to worry about things like that.

Signed up this evening for contingency. Plan on racing the AMA D-37 Enduro Series (CHEC) and the 2 enduro points paying D-37 Dez races. Vet 250 A.

This is really good news..

As we are preparing to race the '09 125 in the GNCC and some ECEA events.

Also very good, (and maybe the main reason the '09's are included) for the dealers to move some of the leftover '09's that may be floating around.

Once you are signed up with them, Do you have to register for the event with XTRM before the event? Or do you just post it if you place after the race is over.

It costs 20 bucks to sign up? That seems sleazy...

You get alot more than just contingency from Husky. Many many more options from other mfgs. You will get your 20 back in savings from other offers.
