• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

This is one gnarly race ... You gotta give it to cr and RD ... And RV busted his butt at the beginning, lays in the fetal position while the entire pack passes him and then gets up and records laps faster than the leaders towards the end of this moto ... #18 was leading the pack for the opening few laps... This is truly great racing ...

He is good, and I wouldn't write him off for the season just yet. It's mid-season and he's hit his stride. Hopefully that means he won't fizzle out early as he hasn't peaked too early in teh season. Saying that though, Reed is Mr Consistency and I would be hard pressed to bet against him continueing that way. I see Dungey as "the spoiler" for CR and RV's title chances as he is more likely to cost them points that are detremental to their title chase than he is to take the title away himself this year. We'll see though I guess.

Don't forget Canard will be back soon ... he'll be the spoiler guy ..... RD is a contender ;) ... cr is hanging better than I thought ... He's the only one that I think might fizzle out ... BUT cr is riding for himself, his team ... Anytime anyone works for themselves, we all try harder ....

cr has been rollin through the mx races this year. i thought rd was going to get him but couldnt pull it off this race.

RD5 pulled up to him on the last lap in moto 1 but cr just fought him back ... RV2 can blast them both ... He very seldom shows all his speed ... He used the same tactics in sx ... Whoever is coaching him on how to race is doing a very good job ... He would have caught cr this week in points if not for the crash ...

Unfortunatly one of the riders (I forget his name) died of complications from heat stroke. I was there with my son but found out about it 2 days later on fuel TV.
