  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc 2010 wr150 with 36mm lectron fmf fatty question

I have a few questions, I recently installed my lectron carb on my wr and it runs great and hauls the mail. I have just ordered the fmf fatty pipe for it and will use it with the stock silencer. Any-body using this combo? Wondering what the difference will be compared to the stock pipe power-wise. Different jetting requirements? Thanks in advance for any input:cheers:!

I would be surprised if you need to make any jetting changes to the Lectron. The pipe should give you better bottom/mid than the stock pipe.

I think you will like it a lot and it will be good to hear your thoughts. I felt more of a mid range increase. (Also top end but that was possibly due to playing with the power valve.) I was running it with the standard big 08 muffler. Swapped to the turbine core fmf and like the original about the same. If yours is a small muffler it can be better to run the bigger muffler IMO.

Like everyone said, no need to mess with the carb and you should see a good bit more bottom and mid.

- Your bike looks really nice.

Thanks Kelly, I am usually not a fan of putting stickers on my bikes but I think it looks ok. I like the color on your bike as well, I think some blue rims would really look nice on your bike(any tm or husabergs in your area?:busted:)
