Ok, I've got a little issue that is more of an annoyance than anything, but I'm hoping someone will have some guidance for me.
As I've been riding my (new to me) 2010 TXC 250, I've had some incidents where the bike has just turned off. At first I attributed it to poor clutch control since I've been riding a Rekluse-enabled bike for so long. I'm not sure that's entirely the problem, though, as it has happened in a broad range of circumstances: accelerating out a corner, climbing a hill (both times at the peak), hard braking down to a corner, and just accelerating in a straight line. It doesn't do it with much fanfare...no pop or anything. And it starts right back up with the button.
My first thought is to take it apart and look for wiring issues. Something similar happened on my KTM when an estart button wire snapped and shorted. Does anyone else have any ideas of what to look for while I'm hunting and pecking? I'm new to this fuel injection thing (at least on a dirt bike), so I don't know if that could be related. I'm pretty sure the previous owner had an aftermarket pipe on it.
The bike also has the neutral issues I've read about on this forum. The bike won't go into neutral when stopped but running, but will fall right in when the bike is off. Sometimes, when starting in neutral, I have to rock the bike to get the starter to turn it over. Starts right up in gear. Doubt that's related, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case.
Thanks all!
