  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2010 TE250 X-LITE mpg tank range plus selecting neutral.

mickx-lite

Husqvarna
Hi, this is my first post, had the 2010 TE250 X-lite for a few weeks, loving the power and lightness, BUT went out today for a good days green laning, only managed 56 miles till I run out of fuel, warning light came on at approx 39 miles. Got a JD 6x surge fitted, lambda sensor removed and standard exhaust with baffle still fitted.

JD settings that I found on cafehusky
Green/Blue 5
Green/Red 5
Yellow 5
Red 4.5
Yellow/Blue 3
Red/Blue 1

Plus finding neutral is hard, in the end just turned it off in gear then selected neutral.

Thanks:)

Hi Mick, I'm not sure on miles as I only really race my TE but can get 1hr 45mins on average before the orange light comes on and around another 15 mins before I run out. Neutral can be tricky, you have to be quite delicate or you''ll just keep going between 1st and 2nd.
If you want the best out of the bike try and pick up a 12 hole injector and race ECU, transforms the bike.

Thanks for the reply, will keep an eye out, see if any come up at a reasonable price and then sell the JD power surge. Cheers:)

I cannot get to neutral with the bike running (at least not when desired). I think that is fairly common.

Thanks for the replys at least I know I'm not the only one that's finding neutral hard to find. (gearbox ok then) just need to get more tank range, don't want to sell the bike as I do like it.
