• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2010 Radiator shrouds - how much

Husqvarna
B Class
G'day.

I have one of the surplus 09 TXC 450's that PFG in Australia brought over from the US. It was an upgrade ffrom an 07 TE450. Great bike so far with around 24 hours on it, 18 of those at the Australian 4 day enduro in April, where it didn't miss a beat.

Like all of the '09's, the stickers started to peel on the first ride. These are supposed to be being replaced under warranty, but i have been waiting a good long while for them and am getting tired of my 'new' bike looking tatty.

Looked into the '10 shrouds with integrated graphics. They are AU$150 here, which is about is about $130 at the current exchange rate. What are the guys in the US paying for them? I'm getting a bit sick of getting shafted with the cost of genuine parts. I know we need to be taxed for living in the best country in the world, but a hundred and fifty big ones for a couple of pieces of plastic......c'mon!
:(

I'd buy a graphics kit but they're even more expensive and I'm yet to see one that I really like other than the Ringmaster Images one's and they are the best part of 350 beans:

The 2009 stickers pealed real fast. I was also losing mine on the first ride. 2010 shrouds are sweet. Its worth getting. I just need the 2010 side covers now.

If you can, I'd be all over them, but only if they had the imbedded graphics. I have seen the stickered versions here:

At au$200, they'd want to make me 10 x as fast!
