• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

2010 Preview information has been released today:

Preview Information for Husqvarna 2010 MX & Enduro Models

Less weight, increased reliability, improved performance and handling. These have been the key elements behind the development work carried out by Husqvarna engineers on the new Enduro and Motocross models for 2010. Improvements to these factors however have not been allowed to affect the Husqvarna off-road look that sets these machines apart from the competition and that features exclusive design.
There are 7 Enduro and 3 Motocross models available to meet the needs of the most demanding off-road enthusiasts. These are true replicas of the machines raced with great success by the official Husqvarna Team in the World Championship series.
Apart from the modifications listed below, it is also worth noting the introduction of a completely new machine to the Enduro range – the 2010 TE 250. This four stroke fuel-injected bike with cutting edge engine design, made its highly successful debut in the World Enduro series with Antoine Meo.
Summary of changes made to the 2010 models that will become available in the UK from July:

I wonder what the higher capacity tank is going to look like and what the actual capacity is. Also, what's the new weight?

KYB Forks :applause::applause:

Now can Husky actually deliver the bikes on time.......... for once?

"new in mould plastic decoration"
I assume this means the graphics are molded into the plastics like KTM, no stickers to fall off.

Thank you for the information!

3 motocross models - TC250, TC450, CR125?
7 off road models - TE250, TE310, TE450, TE510, WR125, WR250, WR300?

Hopefully there will be additional models available such as the TXC series which has been incredibly popular, and the SMs.

(why aren't those guys in the pic working harder )

KYB forks and shorter swingarms. Two good improvements, IMO. :applause:

Didn't I read on here that some Husky big dog said the ZOOKS weren't going ?:excuseme:

Give me the bigger WR125 now please :D Looks like the new 125 shock has the reservoir turned 90 degrees like some sport bikes.

No new WR250/300 or WR200 based on the 125

Yay, bigger tanks!

I wonder which KYB forks? Either way they should be nice. Looks like the WR125 does not get them but if they keep the TC 50s that is good anyway.

If I read that right they are going to one piece side panals and rear fender. I am not a fan of that design.

Less weight sounds good.

I wonder if the new WR silencer will have a spark arrestor?

I didn't interpret that as one piece number plates and rear fender.
I believe they have the graphics molded in the plastic.

This is what I was looking at. Maybe my interpretation is wrong

Any news yet on 2010 TXC models?

This is European information, TXC is not currently sold in Europe so our press info doesn't include the information. We'll leave it to Husq NA to announce the TXC changes when they are ready...

Guess the 610's will be late or ????

610 info will be released as part of Street model updates later in the year, maybe as late as September at Milan Show. TE610 has always been considered as part of the Street range at the factory as it is developed alongside the SM610 rather than alongside the twin cam bikes.

Two countries separated by the same language! :)

UK Number plate = US license plate

Sidepanel design is the same as 08/09 - license plate holder is the new part.

So only the TE250 gets a bigger fuel tank? That doesn't make sense.
