Howdy,
I just bought a used 2008 Husky 610, 1,300 miles on it now. It's cutting out when I chop the throttle real quick. It happend on a busy 4 lane freeway yesterday, sort of made me mad. This is the 4th time it has happend since I bought it (last 200 miles).
It hasn't had the PU mod, and I'm a little leary to do that mod becuse I hear it creates other issues. Is there anything I can do to make this stop in the interim, or should I just do the PU mod? The bike idles at about 1,600 rpm normally, gets up to about 1,800 after it has been ridden for about 30 minutes. I run good premium gas in it, as the compression is pretty high.
I assume this is happening because the air/fuel mixture is too lean.
Any ideas?
