Hi everyone,
As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.
When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.
Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.
Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.
Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Unfortunately i didnt have full coverage
(never again will i get liability) and the car that hit me is insurance is trying 2 fuck me out of paying for the damages... and my lawyer said i can sell as is but just 2 take pics 4 court b4 i get rid of it...oh and yeah... i broke my femur in 3 diff places and i had 2 surgeries 10 screws 1 plate 50 stables and 7 stiches... but no worries ill be back next year stronger than ever... i actually started 2 stand 2day 4 the 1st time after the docs seen my new xrays yesterday and cleared me...
Only thing that really scares me is the wonky front end...
But for that price, new forks wouldn't be a deal breaker.
like i said the only reason im getting rid of her is bc i dont have the money 2 fix or the time plus im trying 2 focus on my recovery... ive been in bed and on 1 leg for 3 months... plus if i fix i know ill be back on b4 im supposed 2 and i would like 2 be 100% b4 i ride again...
frame isnt bent and the triples are still intact and all the problems are pretty much what u c... still runs and all maintenence(oil, oil filter, air filter, spark plug all from dealer) besides the cam chain was done at beggining of the season plus new mich pilot power tires
