  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc 2001question: WR 360 - Aftermarket Exhaust pipe/silencer, FMF, Doma or other(?)

Hi,

Im new here! :)
Wondering if anyone here has part number for FMF, Doma or anything else that could fit an 2001 mod WR 360? Original exhaust is also interesting, seems to be hard to find ... thanks for answers!

Best regards,
Erik

The gnarly FMF made for the front expansion I've fitted to my 02 so if they still have them I would go for that option.

Thx!

I also noticed that the FMF does not produce exhaust to WR older than 09. sent them an email 1 week ago, has not received a reply yet .. So I checked out the 2permo's recommendation - Dynoport, and got a feedback today, they recommend bigger stinger pipe and big core silencer that will be easier to jet.
Looks like I'm ordering from Dynoport, waiting for some photos of their alternative exhausts now.

welcome to the site, we enjoy newbies and hope you will grace us with some pics of your steed

the dynoport will really wake it up! they have two models...as you said one has a larger stinger. the big stinger requires you run the corresponding silencer. the small stinger model is compatible with a stock silencer, i think...their silencers are very nice quality too. worth the cash.

Great! really looking forward to try out what ever im going for from dynoport, good feedback thx!:)
This is my second WR 360. I bought motor and frame with all paper from a guy up north here in Norway for 6 months ago. The plans were to build a road legal bike for daily use and
possibility to for a ride in the woods or hit a few rounds at the local mx track. Attaching a couple of pictures from the built..

Ordered the big stinger pipe and big core silencer today but didn`t get any confirmation yet...
frustrating to see the nice thick ice on the lake here below my house .. need to go ice racing immediately...

Wow...
headach..

had a deal with Dynoport but never received a confirmation of my order ... after a few weeks I canceled my order. Then I got a feedback and explanation that them had much to do during the day and therefore had not given me feedback.. bla.. bla ... After this, I ordered a DOMA exhaust from Germany, this has not appeared and I cant get contact with customer service after repeated attempts for several weeks..
Now I have found a local supplier who can provide exhaust from FMF, but only to 00-06 mod WR250. Is there anyone who can confirm whether this fits?

360 pipes are their own animal. I have not tried it myself, but I believe the angle of the pipe where it meets the head is different on the 250/300 vs the 360
