• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Today I got the list of the 10 pros who will be racing the 125s looks like it should be a good race.Funny how all you people talk about how Husky should get involved in Motocross.Well this is a start yet not one responce from all you Husky fans. There are alot of you here in so calif so how many are going to come to Glen Helen and do a race and watch the pros battle it out in the 125 class.Heard husky has a $3000 purse and the winner gets to keep a 125 Husky
Plus you do not have to be on a Husky to race it. Heard Yamaha,TM,and a few others are also going to try and beat the Husky
SO once again who is going to try and show up

Also I actually raced the 125 dream race last summer at Washougal and qualified for the main (even though I suck at MX and had not raced in years).

I'm all in on the 125 thing man :D

John,
I'll be in BC Mex again, testing my (4 stroke) TXC310R and my skills and body in the "70 millas de infierno en primavera", an tuff one ride (use translator if you need to) invite only deal from my Mexican moto hermanos.
Otherwise you may well have seen me up there at GH....if I had a 2T bike to ride (you know me, Im like you John-participate not spectate). Have fun it will be epic, after spending the day (yes, spectating) at mini day at Perris 2Ts are on my mind and in my ear!!. Be safe have fun!!
PS And Dang It John!! just get yourself a new series CR125, the CHASSIS/handling/suspension/managability will raise your game big time!! You'll have even a bigger Irish smile.

After watching the race two weeks ago I tried to talk myself into racing. But I am not in good enough shape to make the first 5 laps let alone the 2nd moto. I would end up riding like I am on a trail ride, which is all I do. But I will be there spectating and cheering for my Husky brothers.
