    As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

    When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

    Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

    Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

    Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

hey guys,
I need some help. I picked up a 92 wr 360 that was missing the coil and cdi.
I have found a replacement coil and a cdi off of a 93.
My question is the wiring colors and connectors are different on the 93 cdi verses what is on the bike. does anyone have any idea what color wires would go where.
the bike was priced right and the rest of it is in pretty good shape. one more for my collection of non running projects.
I cant find any diagrams or reference material. I would like to try this before I spend the money on a PVL

Check halls out for a manual and wiring diagram, if you do pull trigger on pvl please let me know as i have a 360 2002 that i want to f/mx so spin up is what im after.
92 was an oddball year for the 360 different cylinder exhaust etc 2premo is the oracle on these.
Any questions or trouble just ask.
 
I am pretty sure 92's had the Motoplat, that had the CDI built into the coil,
My 92 CR 250 did,
I have just changed to a later model engine, and needed the correct CDI and a different coil (non built in CDI) for the later model engine.
I think you'll just need the Motoplat coil with the CDI Built in.
