• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

1990 to approx 2000 look!? How?

Sund

Husqvarna
B Class
The picture is of a 1991 TE (Taken from: http://www.cafehusky.com/threads/photos-of-your-older-single-cam-husky.11722/page-2 Post: #33) Person who did it, is never online anymore.

My frame and bike is 1990. To get an early 90 bike to look like this I should buy:
Front plastics
Seat
Rear plastics
Rear fender
From which years?

Do I also need to buy the tank?
Do I also need to buy the airbox?

Has the frame and subframe been changed? / Will it fit straight on, or how much fitment work does it take?

Thanks a lot!
Best regards
Martin.

Well I think 90 and 91 is same frame. But if the 2 People made alt of fitment work Iam not sure Iam going to do it :)

I do have some off road wheels. I dont quite know if they are 1990. But they have the 20 mm. axle Husqvarna runs with.
But they are in Denmark. It's not because I dont want to sell them. I actually do. It's just it would properly be cheaper if you found some in your own country? Or have you seen Ebay? - There are also always some for sale.
