  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

I just bought this scooter that appears to be a very clean and low miles.
Do any of you have this model? Any tips or tricks I should be aware of?
Thanks

Unbelievable condition. Where did you get it from? How did you find it? Any more photos?
I paid a bounty for this year make and model. I believe this bike is from a member here but have not confirmed.
Very little use. Original owner with about 50 hrs on the bike.
I came with a ton of BRAND NEW OEM spares. Headlight with integrated numberplate, rear enduro fender with light, new rear and counter sprockets, flywheel puller, new oem seat, MS skid plate, Devol pipe guard, water pump guard, owner's and workshop manual, original graphics in package and much more.

75th unit off the production line in Italy 1990.

Amazingly it is a lot different than my 94. Motor looks similar but everything else is way different. Sweet looking ride man

As said.... that is awesome!

There's no way that bike has 50hrs. It is spotless!
My bikes dont look that good after 5 minutes let alone 50hrs.

Go ride it and report back. Good find.

Have not seen many bikes like the one you picked up. Should be a strong runner though. I had a '92 WXC 360 that was bullet proof and fun to ride. Lasted a long time with standard maintenance. My friend has a '94 WXC 250 and it has been a great bike as well. He puts it through the wringer every ride and no surprises that weren't rider induced. Sorry I can't give you an experience closer to your year. Good luck and have fun with it!

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to tearing it down to inspect. I suspect it has fewer hours that the stated 50.

The frame has but a few rub marks on the frame from boots and the frame / skid plate show no dings from rocks.

The tires are original with the tits still showing, bolts on major components do not have any tools marks.
A good indication of use.
