  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Want to gear down a CR 125 for the Las Vegas Endurocross on Nov 20th Already run a 52 on the rear and really do not want to go any bigger on the rear .So any one ever use a 12 tooth on the front

Ajax,

I have been running one all year. I thought it would wear faster than the 13 but seems about the same.

I've got a 12 on my TXC 250 but still run a 50 on the rear. I've been told one tooth on the front equals 2 or 3 on the rear so I'd be afraid of running a 12/52 unless you really want to tractor.

all we want is a tractor for the endurocross Then it is back to desert racing where 13 52 works great

been running 12 / 50 for a year now... works great ! now that I'm getting the 167 on may go to the 13/50

id rather run the 12/50 combo, you risk banging sprocket off rocks and tossing the chain with the 52t rear

You should definitely tractor right along with a 12/52!:cheers:

John,

I run a 12x49 combination with the 144 and it works well. 12x52 will probably be ideal for enduroX. What are the dates for the Las Vegas EX?
