• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

'10 450 and 510 and 610?

I agree, it would be a smarter business move, right now. Dial everything in, get the new 250F motored line going and build a strong demand for the current line before moving on. To many crazy different models and you'll end up with the "odd ducks" sitting around tying up operating capital.

Maybe a 175 might be doable?

Gotcha. I'm just trying to think of ideas, I really don't know 2st at all.

I'm with Coffee. I would like to see the product line stay streamlined and really focus on all the little details that would go a long ways to really making the 2010 product line a real good value for the customer.

You are one of the few that agree with me. The TCX was a very nice addition though

The ktm lineup seems quite strange to me, I've got no idea how they keep up on so many bikes, that must take a lot of effort & time. Time = $.

I assume it would need a new cylinder just like the KTM. Does the Husky not have enough room in the lower end to get the stroke long enough for a 200?

I bet for 1/100 th of the R&D they put into the new 250f they could have made a 200 though. For about 1/1000 they could have just come out with a 144.
