  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

250-500cc '08 WR250 Clutch Cable?

Jhunter

Husqvarna
AA Class
I know there's a post in here somewhere about an upgraded clutch cable for the WR250-300. Can someone redirect me or repost the Brand, Part Number & the best place to purchase. Thanks!

I think they are called T3 cables. They aren't on their website for a Husky but you can call them and they can either sell directly to you or if your local dealer gives you a break then you can buy through them and save a little money. (that's what I did)

Yeah, I tried to order one on Monday seeing they had it listed with a part number. Firgured I'd install it this weekend since I'm not racing, got an email saying 4-6 weeks and got a bit bummed.

I called MotionPro and they're on back order due to a small end fitting (650-594-9600). Sounds like another month or so. I think they told me the retail price was $39 (part#10-0154).

I just called, they are all sold out.I talked to motion pro. They are still waiting for the end cap thingy to come in. He said 3wks. on another note toytech said he had full procircuit exhaust both peices for $195.good deal.

I installed my new MotionPro cable this weekend. Wow, what a difference in the pull, much easier! Top quality part and pretty easy to install. Happy, Happy, Happy!
