  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Hello. I am having a very hard time finding, or ordering a clutch cable for my 2008 WR 250. Could anyone please advise on other models that will work, perhalps another manufacture one will fit? Any suddgestions are welcomed. Thanks in advance.

motion pro should have a listing for one, have you checked with them? the terminator cable is a good unit

Thank you everyone for your feedback, makes me feel good.
Motion pro is back orderd till aug 1, and no one has any in stock.
I'm in kelowna BC, Canada. I'm not exactly sure bout the rules, but I have pay pal and would be interested in your take off for sure, as this parts is the last thing holding up my riding.

Hi all,

Sorry if this is a silly question but can someone can help me understand how the Motion Pro terminator cable works. I pulled up the link listed a few posts earlier and I don't understand the double end? In the picture on the motion pro website, the cable appears to have 2 ends that connects to the arm on the engine. Help please......

Just install a Hydraulic Clutch ... Magura has the right set up for it. Used from many people in Hondas or Yamahas ... Cables are outdated

It looks just like the stock cable. The housing sleeve is longitudenally wound, so that it won't compress like the stock housing will, thus more of the travel that the clutch lever actually moves the actuator at the engine case, rather than just compressing the housing.

No, but MP may not always have them in stock. I had to order mine from them. Then I had them make me a custom length one to work better with my ASV clutch lever.

i see, the way i saw people talking about the terminator i thought they discontinued husky applications. i was about to buy an extra for my 360! great cable, and really smoothed the clutch up.

I called Motion Pro and left a message but they haven't called me back yet so I have another question.....

I run a Rekluse EXP 2.0 in my WR300. Does this cable have the adjustment capability so I can use it with my Rekluse? I know that probably sounds like a stupid question and may be but I just want to make sure it will work with my Rekluse before ordering it. Thanks.

It should, if the stock cable works with a Rekluse. I don't have a Rekluse on mine.

Hydraulic Clutch /Slave and MAster installed .... and i am impressed. Worth the money .. so much easier and gives you a great feeling. A must when riding singles only and lots of technical stuff.
