  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

125-200cc '07 WR 125 Gas Cap

Acerbris. Dare I say KTM dealer could hook you up. I think I have an xtra sitting. You pay postage and it is yours. Lemme look at home tnight then I will PM you result

Thanks guys! Let me know, Joe.
Does the Acerbis cap go on any easier than the stock one with the Husky "H"?
If it does, I'm would buy two of them, as the stock one is a PIA during gas stops in a race.
They are hard to get off and don't go back on fast consistently. We lose seconds during a H/S race due to them. Not good in the "A" class.

Acerbris goes on much quicker as the H one has a weirs shape and gripping it is weird too and the gasket never stays seated and always get weird in the threads and leaks unless it is perfect...I hear you and yeas have one/ send address via PM

Where did you buy the Acerbis cap? I checked around online and didn't find anything. Is it the same as a KTM?

Me too.

What I managed to find out is that the Acerbis large cap will fit. I ordered one, I'll post the results when I get it.

Just a heads up...the Acerbis large did not fit my 09 300 stock tank. That's how I ended up with Project 321.

Thanks, please let me know if it works the same or better than stock, as far as ease of putting it on and taking it off.

It works great. Its easy to grip with gloves and is only 3 turns if I recall and it is seated tighly on the tank.

random question but sorta on topic... anyone know if a Yamaha ATV / Suzuki LTZ/LTR gas cap will work with anything Husky? ive got a nice, brand new, red anodized, aluminum gas cap i bought for my SXV but never used it. would look sweet on a Husky.

i tried it on my 09 WR and 07 TC, no dice. just throwing it out there in case anyone is interested.

The Acerbis cap works great on our 08' CR125 and 09' WR125. Easy on & off, best of all no leaks.

Contact Motorsportz Mike he should have them in stock.

Just got my Acerbis cap in the mail. Seems to work great on my 2008. Threads on easier and easier to grip.

Thanks to all! I just got the large Acerbis cap and it works much better than the stock cap.
I'm ordering a second one for our other WR asap.
Thanks again.
