Hey all,

I have a 2011 Husky WR 300

Had suspension work done by a place, gold valves....the lot!!! 2 rides later I finish up the ride with both fork seals blown and as you can imagine quite peeved.

Ripped the forks off (KYB) and to my surprise one fork leg...Hyper Extended!!!

Turned it upside down and the whole compression valve assembly was gone. Fallen out of the bottom.

Shop has agreed that it must have been their fault but they cant find the parts.

Its been 6 months now and no-one has been able to find one anywhere so its time to ask you all.

These forks were dime a dozen across several brands how the hell can ther b no parts?!!

I'm thinking the same thing. Maybe try a bike wrecking yard. There's gotta be a twisted fork leg somewhere that can donate the part.

I think you may want to contact all the Suspension shops in OZ then hit up US. Just be clear on what you need/want. Fact is and this is for WP a number of shops have their own custom base valves machined/manufactured. Their will 100% be availability of this part you need to hit everyone up. ProCircuit, Factory Connection, RaceTech, ZipTy Racing are just a few here in the US. do more homework and hit up all your OZ shops first.

That is rather rubbish. I've two sets of forks that are for the scrap but are zocchi I can whip the comp out and measure if you want.

I'd assume you've tried Terry at shock treatment n dave at suspension matters. Try Jakobi too

Here's the Husky part number 8000H2689. $447.99 USD****************************************!! You might want to call around and see if anyone has that part number. You can probably find a used pair of forks for around the same price and have spare parts.

Thanks so much mate. Appreciate your help. Its not my responsibility to fix it so I can just relay this onto the shop.
