Hi All I have heard that husky 610 rev counters go bang after 10Kmiles or so. Can these be repaired and what generally goes pop. I have replaced the large capacitor in there and the rest of the circuitry seems to be ok. Am wondering now if it is the wires from the rev counter, do they pick up/connect at the coil or elsewhere? Any pointers greatly appreciated...info/tech tips for older 610's is thin on the ground. CMB123
I don't think there is a repair. I was considering tossing my stock speedo/tach when I first got the bike, because odo read only in kilometers. Other TE610E guys wanted my tach when I mentioned this.
