  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Husqvarna
AA Class
I can't explain how awesome my bike is. I've had one full season on it and have had two rides on it this season. (It's still a little snowy in the trees). Here are my mods:

2010 WR300
Enduro Engineering Bark Busters, rad guards and skid plate.
P3 pipe protector.
Respring for a giant.
Correctly jetted Mikuni.
Rekluse Z-start Pro.
Fancy plastics and grafix.
Motion pro terminator cable.
Flipped pegs.

Every time someone else rides my bike, they gush about how great it is. I've gotta agree with them. I can't stand the feel of a KTM, the front end is too loose, and the rear pogos all the time. I went for a ride yesterday and burned. It was so fun, that tight singletrack is just so much fun. Did you notice how many times I said fun! Share your love for the best singletrack monster on the planet.

Love my 09. Too many things addded to list. I have it also plated and maybe 4-6 times a year it also doubles as a DS bike. Best tip going on this bike.....seat concepts. Its not as wide as youd think, uber Compfy too. All bikes going forward will have one of these seats now

I have my 300 working so well it now gets rode more then my 165 Never thought I could say that
Sorrie Walt
But then my 300 just overall the 50a class at the National Hare and hound Race in Utah Some thing my 165 has never done So for now it is the 300
Biggest improvement is a set of Ohlins From David at Fast Bike industries Then all the inside info I got from Zip Ty Racing made this 300 I believe the best 300 out there Hands down better then any KTM or Beta

i have to agree i am in love with my 300....hands down the best tight snotty single track weapon i have owned

I love my WR300. I rode my TE449 yesterday on the same singletrack I ride with the WR.
Results...image.jpg
I can easily make it up that with the WR. The TE is good in many ways but the WR is magical.

Gods of Moderation, is there a default setting you can add which "uprights" photos uploaded from mobile devices?

With this being my first full season with the bike I have only got about 25hrs on the bike, but here are the mods so far;
FMF Gnarly w/ Q4
Rekluse Z-Start Pro
Lectron Carb
Vee Rubber VRM140 Tackee tires w/ foam inserts.
I can't say enough good things about the bike so far, after getting rid of my "Green" 450, I feel like I'm on a bike with half the weight! The amazing part is the incredible handling, just point and shoot and my steed never strays! With my 6'4" stature, the bike is the perfect fit (the first time in 35 years I could say that), and the more time I spend on it the better I like...or love it :-)
I think my next mod will be a race head after all the posts I've read about it!

I feel the same way about my WR250. I seriously considered a 300 and figured I'd convert my 250 to a 300 when the top end was completely worn out. My question for all you 3hunny owners is; Have any of you ridden 250s and if so what are the trade offs between the 300 to the 250?

I rode the 125, 250 and 300 back to back to back. I really liked the hit right off the bottom with the 300.

giantjoe, when a 3honey sees stuff like that, it's starts to salivate like a sled dog with a new snow pack.(lame husky reference haha) In these Floriduh harescrambles, my '09, the rougher the better........

Well I finally figured out how to get a pic on here, I love my ride :-)
