On the morning of 06/04/2019, the decedent was driving his motorcycle northbound on the ISR 5 in San Diego. The decedent took the Pacific Highway exit when he struck a vehicle travelling the wrong way on the off-ramp. The driver of the vehicle stopped and called 9-1-1. San Diego Police Department and San Diego Fire Department were then dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, paramedics initiated chest compressions. Despite life-saving measures, the decedent never regained consciousness and death was pronounced.
