  • Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

Where is the nether-region on this bike?

Because if you point me there, I am going to give it a swift kick right in that place****************************************

I called Dynojet today and was on the phone with their tech support for 30 minutes attempting to configure this PCV+AT, but we could not make it passed calibrating the TPS. I have gone through the full steps on resetting the TPS and it is reading at a constat 50% throttle on the ECU.

Dynojet open an RMA for me to send the unit back to them, but I would like to ride this weekend and see if anyone (mainly Tinken) has any idea how to set this up properly calibrating the throttle position.

Here is a video of what my TPS is reporting for voltage.

Not trying to insult your intelligence or anything but did you actually adjust the tps position on the throttle body, aside from actually doing the tps reset?

Not insulted at all. And ummm, no. Is there a thread for that? I adjusted the brass air screw to fix the 3,000 RPM idle issue, that is fixed. How do I do what you are talking about?

If im not mistaken, actually moving the tps on the throttle body so that at zero throttle the potentiometer is at zero

I am sorry my bike is across town at my garage. I would have to look at it tomorrrow. Im sure Tinken would know....

I am dumb, looked at the manual and noticed two potentiometers, I had it plugged into the top one...wrong one.

Easy mistake to make, apparently. Mine was showing wacky voltage readings for tps and I thought my tps sensor was bad but
it turns out that it had been plugged in to the secondary tps instead of primary.

So then you must be out ripping along by now.

With the full FMF and PCV, this thing is beast!

And the PowerCommander installation instructions are dead wrong. They tell you to plug it into the wrong on. I sent an email back to their tech support to let them know.
