Just curious as I coundn't find it in the manual. I am in break in mode now but want to know for later. It says a light comes on when redline is reached. Does it also have a rev limiter?
    Thanks,

    Hi,

    Found this:

    http://209.85.173.132/search?q=cache...&gl=ca&strip=1

The guy says that there is a rev limiter and it is set for around 8,250 rpm. This cannot be adjusted.

He also says that there is a rev warning light and that you can adjust that.

But I could find anything in the manual too about a rev limiter.

    Hello,

The rev limiter cuts the power suddenly at around 8500. You will know when you hit it.

Not sure about a rev limit light.
But you'll know it when you hit the rev limiter.
Just crank the throttle you'll hear it.
The bike is made to protect itself.
Oh ya...make sure you bike is warmed up good before trying it.:D

Thanks for the info on the max rpm and the rev limiter. I didn't see anything in the manuals so that is why I asked. I always warm up my bikes for about 5 minutes before riding them as it just makes sense. As far as the break in goes it looks like no more than 5500 rpm for about 1000 miles and then see what she can really do. :applause: I figure I will do the power up after the break in.
