I need a pipe for my 1972 250. Which other popes will fit. There seem to be a lot of 360 pipes around but not that many 250 ones. I''m after the machine gun type that fit up one side of the bike

Is there a best pipe option?
    Thanks
    John

I would think you could use WR or CR from 1973 and WR only from 1974.

Do the 360 pipes work on the 250?

Not likely as the 360-400-450 pipe likely have a larger flange connection like the later 390 & 430 compared to the 250..

If you end up using a 360 pipe, you would need to sleeve down the ID of the header to manifold. Then you may be concerned about a larger volume than required for your application.

I would look for a 250 pipe that I know is made for the large case 250 engine you have first before trying a 360 pipe.
