I see a number of post about the bikes adapting and the spoofers not working after a few hundred to a few thousand miles.

I have also read a few post of folks who seem to have had them for several thousand miles with good results.

Mine, with a Wuka plug, was great for about 4000 miles until the summers heat & humidity.
I did a few things like removal of the Wuka and replacement of spark plugs and it ran OK through the rest of the summer.
Once the temps dropped into the 80's I re-installed the Wuka and I have now ran a bit over 2000 miles.
I dont see any signs of it adapting. I have to say I am generally happy with the simple wuka plug.

Obviously those with issues are the ones who will post of problems, those without tend to say nothing.

Mine would adapt in about 3000 miles. I would remove it, have the ECU mossed, reinstall and it would work for a while again. Eventually it just wouldn't work at all. And removing it made the bike run really terrible, even when mossed. Just my experience.

Mine was adapted out at less than 500 miles.

I prefer the Wuka plug, my spoofer would not adapt after riding for 350 miles. You guys are a great help in this matter, the difference between Wuka and Spoofer is night and day for me.

I tried the Wuka and Eruption, did not leave them in long enough to adapt, just didn't like the hit to my economy.

I installed the Eruption at about 8000km and the off idle stalling problem went away immediately.I purchased a new O2 air temp sensor to modify so I had the option of putting the original back in place.
When i put my bike in for its 10,000km service I put the original temp sensor back in (to protect warranty). I left it in for about 1 tank of fuel then put the Eruption back in.
I have repeated this process every time I have the bike serviced (every 5000km) its now in for its 20,000km service.

Each time the Original temp sensor is in I get the off idle stall problem again, and can easily notice the difference with I go back to the Eruption.

Not sure if going back to the original sensor every 5000km is the answer to stopping the bike adapting but it is working for me.

Booster plug now makes a temp/fuel spoofer for the TR650.

I drove with booster plug about 6500km. During this period I reset Ecu 4 times. First time somewhere at 2500km
Then I got tired of it and I installed LC2 inspired by drzcharlie

Tokor, what settings are your voltages for the o2 sensor?

If you mean the Output range which can be seen the LM Programmer software, I have not changed it. I can check it out in the evening if you want. Otherwise settings are one of those that you sent to me.

Yes, I was wondering how you felt about those settings. What is your opinion? How is the throttle linearity? How about torque across the power band? Did it wake up your engine as it did mine?

It is too early say these new settings, I have not yet got to drive. There is still no snow :(

No snow? I assume you have studded tires for winter riding then. Here we have hit and miss types of winter. It'll snow hard, melt, get warmer, get colder, freezing rain, get warmer...yada, yada. Anyway, it makes it possible to ride year around with heated gear in the colder weather.

Yes, studded tires is already installed and waiting for when the snow raining. Normally three to four months to be driven on snow snow conditions.Water is mostly been raining a couple of weeks :( Temperature limit kept in winter conditions -15 degrees celsius and then has not set out to drive. At the moment the weather forecast predicts water rain or wet snow

FWIW. Here is a graph I ran with a Innovate LM2 on my 13 Terra, totally stock except for a Booster plug. The red dotted line is set at 14:7 and as you can see the current AFR is in the 14.1 range. The Booster plug has been in operation for the last 2k miles without resetting. The black line represents RPM.
From what I have seen, the majority of the adaption takes place in the first couple hundred miles,so at 2k it should be as lean as its going to be.

What I didn't like about the Booster plug was the fact that it adds a blanket of fuel across the whole tuning range. That works good in the lean areas ,but sucks in the areas that are already rich, which was evident by the black splatter on the backs of the mufflers and the fact the fuel mileage dropped by 1-2 mpg.

The Booster plug is gone, replaced with an AF-Xied.Simple hook up,the bike rips and fuel mileage has improved by 4-6 mpg,and it has presets that can be switched with a screwdriver [IMG]

Today, finally I was able to test runs with new settings
Roads were covered with ice in some places and in some places the sand. So very challenging conditions. I managed to drive 50 kilometers, then I fell down, luckily not badly. I don't focused enough. Only the handlebar twisted a curve. Tomorrow to buy a new one

    Bike behavior was completely changed.

Torque are available evenly over the entire rev range, no more peaks
Power seems to be a little bit more?
Throttle was linear, no dead zone anymore

A full analysis can not yet be given but the bike felt much more comfortable, needs more kilometers and experience of adjustments

Bike is currently equipped with the LC2, air filter K&N, and Gpr exhaust single outlet

HAPPY NEW YEAR from the Philippines

My bike was behaving terrible in the beginning, stalled every time I was in slow traffic or approaching a red light. x times a day!

Now I'm using the Accelerator Module from Solid Solutions (Belgium) a specialist for BMW bikes.
Have 7000km with that spoofer and it works flawless, no signs at all that the STUPID ECU goes around and learns...
No need of changing the temp sensor, I bought the cheap 40$ version which is just a plug.
I used my Terra under the worse condition you can imagine(jungle trips, river bed journeys), ...engine fine, spoofer fine, bike never let me down, even I fell down several times, also in the river.
Never warmed up the engine. No Moss, no idle reset, just nothing of all what I read here....
I suggest all of you having one or the other problem, ...to really drive that beast once in while, because that's what it likes and does best.

    Greatings from the Philippines

Doesn't this spoofer do exactly the same thing as the others? You must have got lucky with your bike if your not having any problems, even in tropical weather. I'm still waiting on my Brisk plugs, the last ones got lost in the post. :-( We'll see how she runs then. I might unplug the Wuka as well, until the weather here cools, as per Ogres results.
