• Hi everyone,

As you all know, Coffee (Dean) passed away a couple of years ago. I am Dean's ex-wife's husband and happen to have spent my career in tech. Over the years, I occasionally helped Dean with various tech issues.

When he passed, I worked with his kids to gather the necessary credentials to keep this site running. Since then (and for however long they worked with Coffee), Woodschick and Dirtdame have been maintaining the site and covering the costs. Without their hard work and financial support, CafeHusky would have been lost.

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been working to migrate the site to a free cloud compute instance so that Woodschick and Dirtdame no longer have to fund it. At the same time, I’ve updated the site to a current version of XenForo (the discussion software it runs on). The previous version was outdated and no longer supported.

Unfortunately, the new software version doesn’t support importing the old site’s styles, so for now, you’ll see the XenForo default style. This may change over time.

Coffee didn’t document the work he did on the site, so I’ve been digging through the old setup to understand how everything was running. There may still be things I’ve missed. One known issue is that email functionality is not yet working on the new site, but I hope to resolve this over time.

Thanks for your patience and support!

What engine oil should i run in 08 TE 610

DIRTBIKE

Husqvarna
AA Class
Just wondering what oil you guys run in ur 07-09 TE/SM 610's. I'm about to do my first oil change and not entirely sure what oil to put in my 08 610?

+1 the Motul 10w-60 is really good oil and give the best feel in the gearbox! Finding neutral is easy and it will shift nicely too!

Friend who races with Husky SMR, recommended BARDAHL XTC 10-60. In my country there is no Bardahl dealer, so i had to go and buy it to Italy. Unfortunatley they had nearest oil to 10-60, 15-55...so i bought second. My husky works perfectly, shifting is smooth and finding netural with supermoto boots very easy!

Ok i will be getting me some Motul 10w60. Hopefully i can find neutral after changing the oil because i havent got a chance unless im still moving, kinda sux when in traffic.

Oh 1 last thing, how much do they take. Im in the process of getting a manual at the moment and im not sure how much to put in.

Fill it up with 1.5 qts and run it for a min them leave it for 5 min. Check the sight glass and add as needed so you have a small bubble in the top of sight glass.
