    Hi
Is it possible to check valves on Terra 650 when the motor is still in place or do I have to get it out of the bike?
In the work shop manual it is on the bench.
    Hell lot of extra job!

yes, engine can remain in the frame. Take the exhaust cans off and tilt the subframe down to lift the front of the tank. Then you can remove the airbox. Cover the ECU so you don't accidentally short it to the battery. There's a hidden bolt on the bottom right side of the airbox that needs to be removed. Be careful to not break the studs on the airbox for the drain tube and engine vent hose. Don't pinch any cables when you move the subframe.

    Thanks CarstenB
I managed to remove the red valve cover by sliding it backwards.
I will now continue and even remove the cylinder top.
Would you say that this is also possible with motor in the bike?
