Can anyone confirm that i can run a standard te headlight off the txc stator?
Using the yellow ac wire and the earth.
I have attached a photo of the plug in question (pic off this site).

Baja Designs - squadron sport. Call them and they will help you with the wiring kit and you can add a tail light. Great light and easy to install. If you want pictures of my setup let me know.

I have already have a light so I just need to wire it up.
I have fitted a led globe so will need to change the stator ac to DC. Here in Australia its expensive to purchase things from the states or Europe.
I have spoken to a auto electrician and he pointed me towards a rectifier that should do the job. Fingers crossed.

Almost positive the TXC already has rectified 12VDC. in fact, I'm sure since it charges a 12V battery.

Take the 12V right off the battery with a separate fuse to wire your lights and switches. A relay for the headlight and horn might be a good idea.

Yeah the auto electrician said it would have due to it having a battery. I'm hoping to wire it up so the light goes on and off automatics with the motor. Just saves me trying to remember to switch the light off when I cut the motor. He did say the other option is run the light from the battery using a relay and use the stator wire as the trigger for the relay.
Yes I will be fusing the system regardless on which way I go.
    Thanks
