TE/TC TX300 still amazing (and notes)

    I did exactly what was done in this video and I have JD kit. It definitely helped, but don't expect more HP per say, rather it helps clean up the jetting issues. One way I knew it was working...before I cut my air box, my filter would always be clean, even after a few rides. I was amazed at how little dirt got into the air box. To me this shows how restrictive the design was. After the cut per the video, it would get dirty more quickly like every other bike I have owned in the past. I can only assume this means it is gettng significantly better airflow.

    of course you can get more airflow by doing the holes I had holed and unnholed side covers for my 2014 TE 300 I ended up with the un holed covers most of the time, the bike was easier to ride and I would actually go faster with less energy used. Fast is great but steady and solid is best for me.
